Your own breastmilk is carefully preserved and set into your chosen piece, creating a completely personal keepsake. Choose from sterling silver and gold rings and pendants, with a range of tones and finishes designed to feel like jewellery first - and a meaningful reminder second.

Each piece is made individually in my Bath, Somerset studio, with your breastmilk handled with care from the moment it arrives.

Breastmilk jewellery: your questions answered

What is breastmilk jewellery?

Breastmilk jewellery is a personal keepsake made by preserving a small amount of your own breastmilk and incorporating it into a piece of jewellery. At Demeter, your milk is carefully prepared and set into your chosen piece, creating a lasting reminder of your breastfeeding journey.

How much breastmilk do I need for breastmilk jewellery?

Only a small amount is needed. We recommend around 5–10ml, although we can work with less if necessary. You'll receive clear instructions with your collection kit. We recommend keeping a little milk at home rather than sending your entire supply.

How does breastmilk jewellery work?

Once you've chosen your piece, we'll send you a collection kit with everything you need to safely prepare and return your breastmilk. Once it arrives at our Bath studio, your milk is carefully logged, prepared and incorporated into your chosen jewellery. Your piece is then finished, checked and securely returned to you.

How long does breastmilk jewellery take?

Each piece is made individually and takes approximately 8–12 weeks from the point we receive your breastmilk. This allows time for careful preservation, creation and finishing.
