How Breastmilk & Keepsake Jewellery Works

The process

New to the idea? Read what breastmilk jewellery is before you begin.

Creating breastmilk and keepsake jewellery is a considered process, from the moment you choose your piece to the moment it returns to you.

We know what you're sending us is irreplaceable. Every Trace is handled with care, respect, and attention from the moment it arrives in our Bath studio.

01
Choose Your Piece

Browse our breastmilk and keepsake jewellery collection and choose your design, metal, Tone, and Trace.

Everything is selected when you place your order, making the process straightforward from the very beginning.

02
Send Your Breastmilk or Keepsake

Once you've placed your order, we'll send you a carefully prepared collection kit within a week.

Inside you'll find everything you need, along with clear instructions tailored to your chosen Trace - whether breastmilk, hair, botanicals, gemstones or something else.

For UK customers, we've included a prepaid return box, making it simple to send everything safely back to us.

03
Your Breastmilk or Keepsake Arrives Safely

As soon as your Trace arrives at our Bath studio, we'll send you a confirmation email.

From that moment, it's carefully logged, individually labelled, and stored separately throughout the creation of your piece, ensuring it remains uniquely yours at every stage.

04
Your Jewellery Is Prepared With Care

Each piece of breastmilk or keepsake jewellery is prepared one at a time in our Bath studio. Your Trace is set with care, and the piece finished with the same care we'd expect for something we'd treasure ourselves. Please allow around 8 – 12 weeks from the day we receive your Trace. Every piece is created individually, never rushed. If you'd like an update while we work, just ask - we're glad to let you know how things are progressing.

05
Delivered securely to you

Your piece is sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery - tracked, signed for, and insured.

It arrives beautifully packaged, ready to be worn, treasured, and kept close for years to come.

A Note on Care & Trust

"I trained with Lucy at Mama and the Moon in Ireland, learning the specialist techniques needed to preserve breastmilk and keepsake materials safely and respectfully. That grounding continues to shape every piece I create. Every Trace entrusted to me is handled with the same care, respect, and attention I'd give my own." — Laura
