Every Demeter piece is shaped by two choices: the Tone that holds it, and the Trace that lives within it. This is your field guide to both.

Tones

A Tone is the finish of the stone at the heart of each piece - choose the shade that speaks to you.

Milkstone

Soft, opaque white. Smooth and gently luminous like sea glass held to the light.

Seastone

Cool silver-grey with a fine granular texture. Understated, mineral, smooth.

Saltstone

Placenta

For those who have chosen to encapsulate their placenta, a small amount of the dried powder can be set permanently within your piece. Prepared by hand in our Bath studio with care and discretion
